Internal Sales / Warehouse Assistant

The role is customer-based so excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are a must. Ultimately, we are seeking someone who is prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves and support the team with any number of office and warehouse duties to ensure that our customers are serviced well and in a timely manner. The applicant must have full working rights in Australia.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Customer support and enquiries
• Assist in processing customer orders
• Provide support for Sales and Warehouse teams
• Provide support to the Accounts team
• Data entry plus other day-to-day activities
• Liaise with transport companies for the collection & delivery of products locally & interstate
• Assisting with controlling inventory levels/stock transfers.

Experience

• Experience in customer service
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Team player attitude with a strong work ethic
• High fluency in English
• Be confident, willing to learn quickly, and take direction well

BOILERMAKERS / WELDERS

We are seeking experienced Boilermakers / Welders with a current Forklift Licence to join our team in our busy workshop in Dandenong South.

Your role will be to:

• Mig welding and fabrication
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
• Working to Welding standards and ensuring no re-works
• Use hand/power tools, forklift and other machines, as required
• Work well within a team environment and assist other members of the team
• Perform work in compliance with safety standards and procedures

Skills and Experience

• Proficient MIG welding skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a workshop environment, specifically fabrication
• Experience in oxy cutting, gouging
• Physically fit
• Current forklift licence
• Current drivers licence with own reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Strong team work ethic, a can-do attitude and an ability to use initiative
• Right to work in Australia
