These buckets are designed to improve the
productivity, performance and versatility of your
excavator.
Performance Statement
High performance excavator tilting mud or clean-up
buckets from
eiengineering
will improve your
productivity and performance through:
Improved bucket geometry for more efficient loading
and unloading of material
Ideal for finishing Batters, Dam Walls and Drains
Full 45o tilt both left and right
Heavy duty robust construction for increased
strength and durability
Flexibility - any bucket width - depth – capacity
Are designed to comply with OH&S requirements
Safe for operators as the machine no longer needs to
leave flat ground
What to look for in a tilting mud bucket
Increased pin-to-point due to the introduction of
the central pivot pin and hydraulic cylinders
between the hanger plate and bucket top box can mean
a massive loss of lifting capacity, due to the
extended pin-to-point measurement.
That the bucket will tilt a full 45o
The Tilt head should be compact to lessen the impact
of pin-to-point
Heavy Duty Top Box for added strength and durability
Superior bucket design for more efficient bucket
fills
Bucket width and capacity matched to your
application
Excellent wear protection on bucket backplate
High strength steel used in construction
With or without Bolt-on-edges
Inexpensive and easy maintenance of main pivot pin
Hydraulic cylinders have high performance seals and
are large enough to perform the tasks
eiengineering Tilting Mud Bucket Design
The design of the
eiengineering
tilting mud bucket
is generous, however you can be assured that they
are built to the limitations of the excavator and
comply with OH&S regulations.
Our engineers calculate the proportions for the
materials being excavated, the lifting capacity of
the machine and the size of the bucket.
Compact pivot point and cylinder hangers to provide
the most loading capacity
The main pivot point is fitted with greasable,
replaceable bushes to provide years of trouble-free
operation
Hydraulic cylinders are large and robust enough and
designed specifically for the task
Recognised best Hallite seals are used in the
cylinders to ensure they are leak free
The cutting edge is reinforced and bolt-on edges and
bucket pins are supplied as standard with all of our
mud buckets
The bucket shape promotes the efficient loading and
unloading of materials into the bucket, which
results in buckets that load easier and fill quicker
than the majority of conventional excavator buckets.
The bucket top box is designed to provide maximum
strength through the bucket from the hangers for
maximum digging power
All
eiengineering
buckets are made from Bisalloy,
which is 3.1 times stronger than mild steel. This
ensures more strength and less weight which means
greater capacities, less fuel consumption and less
load on the excavator.
The Benefits
The benefits you will experience are:
Earn more money moving more material - greater
payload per bucket load
Reduce fuel costs – because the bucket loads easier
with less drag, fuel costs will be reduced
Save time – more bucket capacity means less time
behind the controls, saving fuel and employee costs
Reduced servicing costs because the excavator is not
working as hard
Bisalloy construction means longer working life of
the bucket and less downtime carrying out expensive
repairs or modifications
What you get as standard
All of our buckets are delivered with bucket pins
and bolt-on-edges (if required), designed to protect
the edge from premature wear.
Replacement bolt-on-edges are available from
eiengineering
direct.
